Welcome to my deviantART page...

I am not the most "social" person... contrary to popular belief so this is a change for me... :P I currently have a Masters of Science in Psychology and am a case manager for the Seriously Mentally Ill at a clinic in Arizona. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others and I get to do this with my job. I also lead a Beauty Group at the clinic to empower women, help them find self-esteem, learn new techniques and trends, and build relationships. I love make up and all things beauty related. I worked in the field while in college and I am definitley obsesed to put it mildly- and if I do say so myself, an amazing make up artist.

But why am I here?? Well, all my life I have been into creating art. Both of my grandfathers were artists and I wanted to fill their foot prints so to speak. I have only done art as a hobby and shunned art school basically because I have my own style and didn't care to learn someone else's way. I also wanted to help people and learn more about human behavior, so I pursued the route of psychology in college.

I am now looking to follow my artisitic talent and passion and I have applyied to art schools to develop and further my technique and talents. I am happy to let everyone know that I was accepted at the University of Gloucestershire in England to pursue my B.A. in Fine Arts. :D Yay!! :D

I am in a long-distance relationship with the most amazing guy ever, he is my heart and soul. ♥ He has inspired me and given me the courage to pursue my dreams. He is a talented author currently attending school in the UK. Next fall we hope to be enrolled in university together in Cheltenham, him for creative writing, and myself for fine art.

I really hope this deviantART thing works out. :P I am kind of nervous to put myself out here like this, but I guess it is now or never. :) Please enjoy my works...

If you want to check out my boyfriend, Alex's, "fan fiction" writing check out Polibear at Fan Fiction, he has written some Harry Potter chapters and he loves Dr. Who (of whom I am clueless- it must be an English thing)... I am sure he would love feedback on his writing he is always looking to improve upon his 'art' as well. He has already written his first novel but is working out the kinks currently so it is not yet available... but soon. ♥ :)
